Hey there Reader

Happy Friday! I hope you're ready for another Forget-Me-Not Friday idea?

This week, I want to go back to some basics and talk about tassels, spine dangles, spine jewellery, etc, which look a little like this:

Now, there are lots of ways you can make these. But a few years ago, at about 3 in the morning, I discovered a super simple way to make them.

Since then, I've been making my tassels in the same way every single time. You can see my exact process in this video.​

I really think tassels finish off a journal beautifully - especially if your cover is on the simpler side.

Here are a few examples of how your journals could look with a tassel hanging down the spine:
