๐ŸŒบ Forget-Me-Not Friday Idea + Surprise Gift!

Hey there Reader

I hope you're doing well? Here in the UK, it's officially the first day of summer and the sun is positively bursting through the windows!

So, I thought we could do with a bright and happy idea today, which is where these quick and easy collaged journal cards come in.

All you need are some pretty backgrounds (cardstock scraps are perfect for this), book pages and fussy cuts. And hey presto! You have some lovely journal cards that would happily suit most themes.

Plus, I've got a surprise gift for you...

Do you use digital papers in any of your projects? Do you make your own digitals? If you answered yes to either of those questions, then you might be interested in this little offer Creative Fabrica would like to share with you.

They're a website with lots of papers, fonts and images you can use for both personal and commercial projects. While you might not always find full journal kits on there, there are plenty of designers offering patterned papers and things like that.

Anyway, Creative Fabrica have kindly offered everyone in my community a free trial, which gives you 10 free credits for one month. So, you could download 10 lots of patterned papers for free, for example. Head to this webpage to find out more >>โ€‹

Important!

  • Please keep an eye on how many credits you've used (you get 10 free credits)
  • Please remember to cancel before the month runs out
  • If you go over the free credits or forget to cancel, the free trial converts into an All Access Subscription of $9 per month (normally costs $29 per month)
  • You can cancel easily anytime - just please, please remember to do it if you don't want to continue the subscription

I have an annual subscription with them because I create my own digitals. But if I just wanted the 10 free downloads, I would probably spend an afternoon grabbing them and then cancel my subscription straightaway. I'm a forgetful so-and-so!

I hope you enjoy this week's Forget-Me-Not Friday idea and I hope some of you might find the above offer from Creative Fabrica interesting/useful. If you have any questions about it or anything else, please know I'm only a quick email away.

Speak soon,

Justine xoxo

Journal covers with tassels

Hey there Reader Happy Friday! I hope you're ready for another Forget-Me-Not Friday idea? This week, I want to go back to some basics and talk about tassels, spine dangles, spine jewellery, etc, which look a little like this: Now, there are lots of ways you can make these. But a few years ago, at about 3 in the morning, I discovered a super simple way to make them. Since then, I've been making my tassels in the same way every single time. You can see my exact process in this video. I really...

Envelope folio and matching notebook

Hey there Reader It's me, hi, I'm back in your inbox again with another Forget-Me-Not Friday idea! So far, I've shared a lot of ephemera ideas (you can see all my previous emails here). But this week, I wanted to do something different. Sometimes, we need a mini project to sink our teeth into - especially when we're lacking in mojo for a large project or simply because we have leftover papers and supplies to use up after completing a big project. Anyway, this mini folio and matching notebook...

There's going to be lots of windows and flip outs and secret spots inside it, so stay tuned for that. For now, though, I wanted to share something inspired by window envelopes, which is where these simple yet super pretty junk mail envelope pockets come in. Here's the...
